It Appears The Elderly Are More Taken Care Of Then Ever Before By The Elders
by minimus ini usually find fault with the religion but i must give credit when due.
in the hall my mom is in, they regularly check on her and assign different ones to visit and check on the elderly.. if there's a storm or an extremely cold day, they come by to make sure the elderly have everything they need..

The organization should have to look after the elderly as they were the ones that told them to give them all their money and go pioneering.

What is WT policy on a persons deceased ashes?
by William Penwell ini ask a question on my other post but i think it got lost.
what is wt policy on what is approprate way of handling a person that is deceased ashes?
the reason why i ask is because we are having a family disagreement of how to handle my fathers ashes..

The reason why I wanted to know the borgs policy on this is because certian relative's are making snide remarks about "why we want them". I am just so glad I am away from this BS for the most part. Just in sitations like this you have to deal with the brain dead relatives.

I think because the WT don't put high importance on the deceased person at the services and it’s all about the info commercial sell they seem to not put a high importance on the persons remains. My dub brother holds no importance on them and seems to think my dad’s remains should just be forgotten but I am thinking that his remains should be respected and memorialized in some special way. My dub sister thinks more along my line. That is why I ask if there is any borg policy on this matter.

If they stop printing the yearly totals, will they stop tracking hours?
by Splash inso if the soc stop printing the yearly totals in the yearbook as many are predicting, does this mean there is no longer any need to keep track of each individuals hours?.

or lsitening to the dribble in mags. It's just something to keep them busy. Serves no purpose as the GB is well aware of the fact that the door to door activities bring in a small minority of people into that organization.
It is just another tool to try and guilt the RF and keep them in line. I recall as a young dub it was never good enough. If you put in 5 hours then you can do 10, if you put in 10 hours then you can do 15 etc.

It is the only thing that the borg can hold over the heads of the RF dubs. If they stopped making the RF dubs report their time they would have a tough time getting any of them to bang on doors.

Update, I am on the phone with my dub brother and he has some difficult with my fathers ashes. I just told him that I would like to respect my fathers remains and deal with them accordingly. For people that claim they don't fear death they sure are afraid of it. I think the reason is because as a dub we were never made to come to terms with our own mortality. We were never supposed to die in this system so we never had to face our own mortality. Then when a death in a dub family happens they do not know how to deal with it. My sister in law has already had a few break downs over deaths in her family. I don't believe in anything but yet I can handle it better than my dub relatives because I have come to terms with my own mortality.

I have another question, what is the borgs position on what they think is appropriate for handling a person’s ashes? I want to do something with my dad ashes out of respect, even though I believe that the ashes are just that ashes and have no spirit or ghosts attached to them. I just want to do something out of respect but it seems like the other dub family members don't want to do anything.
